External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems are generally used on solid wall constructed buildings and will extend the life of of a building by keeping the old structure warm and stable. Solid walls let through considerably more heat than cavity walls, so large savings can be made on your energy bills through insulation. They can also be used for remodelling tired and existing facades.

External Wall Insulation involves fixing a layer of insulation to the wall, then covering it with a special type of top coat of render or cladding which is silicone/acrylic based and uses the latest technology, making it self cleaning and waterproof. There are over 200 colours available and finishes include smooth, textured, painted, tiled, panelled, pebble-dashed, or finished with brick slips.

Private customers and landlords alike with solid wall constructed buildings will be eligible for grant funding through Government schemes, reducing your costs further.
