The client a leading Housing Association within Gloucestershire has a rolling programme of external maintenance of their housing stock. Engaged via the main contractor we successfully undertook the refurbishment of eight properties through the Autumn of 2019

When the programme became jeopardised by a delay resulting from a lack of roofing contractors, we were pleased to step in & via our supply chain team provided an exceptional re-roofing solution utilising slate covering with dry ridge & hip systems. Also renewing edge detailing & rainwater goods renewal

Following this key phase our inhouse specialist rendering teams removed & renewed the external render finishes with a render system sympathetic to the original finish / existing surrounding properties

FIRE DAMAGE

An electrical fire at this family home had resulted in extensive roof damage & consequential internal damage from the extinguishment of the initial fire

The home owners were keen to modernise their home during the reinstatement works & were able to incorporate a redesign of the  kitchen layout as well as improvements to the Bathroom

Sand blasting of the retained roof timbers ensured the soot staining was removed prior to repairs to the cut roof structure & a full recovering of the the roof with new tiles

As usual our hand over teams carried out a full clean prior to re-occupation & left a ‘welcome home’ gift

Following an extensive fire at the property, we were engaged to undertake the initial stirp out & then progress to the reinstatement works. The homeowner took the opportunity to make a number of alterations in the layout of their home during the reinstatement phase.

These works were undertaken by our in-house teams - partnering specialist contractors resulting in a family home which delighted the homeowners upon their return

The use of Karndean flooring to the Ground floor space gave a hard wearing but warm feel , the First Floor received deep pile carpet. Remodelling of the Kitchen & Bathroom brought the property up to date
