Formed by Philip Snook, his experience in external rendering and internal finishes has made it possible to build a reliable team to undertake a range from minor repair and maintenance schemes through to large scale development projects. Contracts range in value from several hundred of pounds right the way through to hundreds of thousands. RFOR Ltd’ continued development over the first 10 years of trading has meant it's become the preferred supplier to regional contractors and local building companies

Our history

During the course of 2014-2016 RFOR Ltd undertook a £400k project in a remote area, which initially came in as an external render renewal. During the evolution of the project our Project Manager again found the progress of the project being hindered by the need for ancillary trades. Although these elements of work were not in our original contract, we discussed the matter with the client and agreed to take on the full scope of the project works. We were then able to provide a smooth, shorter programme with efficient resourcing and a reduction in the overall expenditure.

After celebrating 10 years of trading, our three directors discovered that often projects were frustrated when ancillary trades were involved. This lead them to investigate the market and secure the services of key trades such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing and decorating. Partnership agreements were formed with mechanical and electrical companies as well as scaffolding contractors. This means the core business can now operate without being dependent on others.

Our Approach

By avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach often used by other regional contractors, RFOR Ltd prefer to meet the client's needs on a project-by-project basis. We meet with our client, listen, discuss and agree a suitable system to suit the needs of the project.

All too often companies have this department, that department, this level of management etc. The downside to complicated structure is often a client's needs get diluted and distorted as the project passes from one department to another. It can also result in additional costs being applied as it moves through the business.
